The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is the largest and foremost study of the entrepreneurship ecosystems around the world. GEM Bulgaria is part of the global consortium since 2015 when it first collected primary data about the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bulgaria and the attitudes, aspirations and activities of people.

The conference

The forum with the motto “Entrepreneurship: path to positive change” will launch the second GEM report for Bulgaria – data, analysis and recommendations to the stakeholders as well as facilitate high-profile and high-impact dialogue between them in order to better the environment in Bulgaria and the region. The event will highlight the latest trends, successful global practices and talk about positive change.

GEM’s global, national and special reports and their recommendations are read by hundreds of thousands of people every year and used on a global, regional, national and organisational level for evidence-based policy making, investment, education transformation, innovation and RD transfer, cultural change, new media formats, mentorship and more for the many needs of different stakeholders groups.

Other highlights of the event include international keynote speakers, Q and A on the report findings, good practices from other countries, the context of our recommendations, a panel with successful Bulgarian entrepreneurs, followed by a short break before the evening Awards event.
